The DQ Grill & Chill® restaurant is our flagship concept, offering a total program that includes the full line of our famous DQ treats and a fresh food menu designed to excite and satisfy guests. These restaurants strike the perfect balance between yesterday and today, featuring on-trend food favorites while preserving our legendary DQ treat heritage. The interior décor is warm, welcoming and stylish - easily differentiating your establishment from the typical quick-service restaurant.

A store with an inviting and efficient floor plan

The typical DQ Grill & Chill® restaurant is a freestanding facility between 2,100 and 2,800 square feet, depending on the building option that you select. Land can be purchased or leased, and the average site requires between 26,000 and 37,000 square feet , depending upon site conditions and building size. A DQ Grill & Chill restaurant can also be developed in strip center end-caps, dual use buildings, travel centers, street front locations and other venues.

Our basic requirements for new franchisees include a review of your background, work experience, and financial capabilities. In general, we are looking for investors or individuals who have the following:

• Prior retail or foodservice ownership or management experience
• A proposed management plan
• The financial resources necessary to develop and operate the restaurant
• A passion for building the DQ brand
